Firsts!

First day of school

Ben really missed having his brother home all day with him

Brothers

First pair of glasses

Happy Birthday Pete

Happy Birthday Daddy. That's birthday cookie dough since we had had our fill of cake

Wearing my heels

Reading with Daddy

Pete's sweater and shoes

He loves wearing his hockey helmet. So much so he cried when it was time to take it off for bed.

First time skating

love this one!

Daddy needed a break so Ben sat with us.

Our first trees :-)

Ben tripped walking in the door one night and it left a dent, this was the next morning

Ben's first shiner

Thursday 6 September 2012

Sesame Place and NYC

Ben and Bobby

First hair cut

Breakfast on the road

Finally in Philly and exhausted

Sesame Place

Not a fan of the characters up close but he liked when they were close enough to wave to them

It took too long to start and he was so tired he cried for the first minute of the ride

Handsome boy

Pete and Daddy went on a different tea cup so they could go fast

Finally a Grover. He had to come to lunch with us

Back to Sesame Place for the water park action

Rock moves

Waiting for the parade to start

Wednesday morning still in Philly on our way to NYC. We wanted to go to IHOP but the one we found was closed so we ended up in this little diner. Best pancakes ever!

Ben ate a package of grape jelly.

Driving through Brooklyn on our way to Queens to our hotel

waiting for the subway to go to the Statue of Liberty

Farry ride to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

My boys

It was so sunny, haha! We didn't get off at the Statue because we wanted to see Ellis Island and there wasn't time for both.

Time to freak out Mommy a bit

Ellis Island

Central Park Zoo

Little food break through central park to the Museum of Natural History

Easter Island Head. "Give me gum gum, dumb dumb."

This is the French embassy on 5th Ave. I just liked the way it looked

Grand Central Station:
Pete and I are up there somewhere

Brandon and the boys are down there by the clock in the middle of the room

FAO Schwarz. The candy shop was insane

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch because Shake Shack was insane. Pete loved it "because it's classy." I think he meant trendy

Empire State Building. Ben loved looking down

Top of the Rock

And this is when I started having a panic attack and we had to leave.

M&M store at Time's Square

Toys R Us at Time's Square

Time to go back to the hotel

NYC wore him out

and his little nap gave Ben enough energy to want to play when we got back
